With our roots in Doctor Carpet, which was established in 1989, we’ve built up decades of valuable knowledge and experience in carpet and upholstery cleaning. A little on how we work…
No two carpets are quite the same, which is why we don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Every job starts with assessing the carpet or fabric, taking into account its fibre, construction, condition and any particular problems that need attention. We then select the cleaning method, products and equipment best suited to it.
We’re trained to work with a wide range of carpets and fabrics, including delicate, water-sensitive materials such as sisal, which may require specialist dry-cleaning techniques. For many carpets, our go-to method is professional hot water extraction, but it certainly isn’t the answer to every job.
That’s what we mean by bespoke carpet cleaning. We don’t simply turn up and run a machine over the carpet. We use our knowledge and experience to determine exactly what each individual carpet or fabric needs, helping us achieve the best possible result while treating your home with care.
Drying Time
Most carpets will be dry within around 3–5 hours after professional cleaning, although drying times can vary depending on the carpet, room and conditions. If you need your carpets dry as quickly as possible, we can use specialist carpet drying equipment to help speed things up. Just let us know!
We don’t miss a thing
We’re perfectionists by nature, so we take real pride in the little details. Where practical, we’ll move furniture to make sure we can clean as much of the carpet as possible, rather than simply working around it. We’ll also give stubborn stains the time and attention they need, using our specialist stain removal knowledge wherever appropriate.For us, it’s this extra care and attention that makes the difference between a carpet that’s simply been cleaned and one that’s been properly cared for.
